IBM WebSphere Cast Iron: Introduction
Overview
WebSphere Cast Iron Appliance is a purpose-built appliance designed to simplify deployment for delivering the capabilities needed for cloud and on-premise application integration.
Cast Iron uses the “configuration, not coding” approach which means that implementation and management of solutions are done by using link internet protocol, database, and web service endpoints.
Cast Iron allows transforming data, implement business logic, and receive data from and deliver data to commonly used end points (file server, web servers, email servers, and database management systems)

IBM WebSphere Cast Iron: Integrations and/or Jobs Stuck: Solution
Overview
If you are having troubles with jobs that are not stopping (stuck in cancelling state), or the integrations are stuck in starting or stopping state plus the appliance is slow and the resources are being eating away, follow the next steps:
- Login using Putty
- Execute the following command: system clean running orchmon
Note: This command will remove any current running jobs and deletes the job logs to clear up resources. Even do the appliance will not be restarted, the web interface will be restarted.
This will allow you to clean the appliance without having to restart or reboot it. However, all the log information you were storing will be wipe out.
