Eclipse Freezes when Saving Workspace

Problem:

Eclipse started to hangup. If you try to close Eclipse, it freezes when saving the workspace.

Solution in Windows:

Force Eclipse to close by killing it with the task manager
Go to C:\Users\[your username]\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\[project name you were working on]\
Move file “.makers” to another location.
Open Eclipse and open a file of your project
Close eclipse and open it again.
